This radio station “Chattanooga Gospel Radio” represents a new ministry outreach which will link our past knowledge to the present and future knowledge of God as a pathway to learning who Christ was, who He is and going to be — in your life!

The Old Testament pointed us towards the cross. The New Testament points us backward to the cross. The cross is the central point to our daily lives. I Corinthians 1: 18 states, “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God”. (NKJV)

In Exodus 3: 14 C, the Lord God adamantly states to Moses that the “I AM” has sent me to you (NKJV). There is strength and power – something desirable in a name. We are to honor our parents, our grandparents and all who paved a way for us spiritually and morally all within the boundaries of truth and love with integrity and character which includes all passion and wisdom.

Moses was unsure as he thought who he was to quote when he approached the children of Israel. He also knew that he was to lead them faithfully to a land that was to provide all they would ever need. He had to be a credible witness as to his instruction to the children of Israel. They had to know and believe in who was leading them, what his message was; that it was real, lasting and a comfort to them in their journey into the unknown. The unknown can produce fear but God promises us in 2 Timothy 1: 7, “for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind”. (NKJV). We have to do the same thing with this gift we have been given in this radio station.

The main theme in the book of Ephesians is to 1) sit; 2) walk; and 3) stand—in who we are — in Christ. The main thought for the purpose of this new radio station is to link the Gospel, the good news of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection. We are to impart knowledge of Christ is and to link the knowledge of the past – the Old Testament to a very personal and real application of the truths in the New Testament to our daily lives. This is to allow Christ to impact our hearts, minds and our lives for Christ. This knowledge will affect us and all those around us within our sphere of influence that will create a desire for more truth, more love of humanity, even when we are all at our most vulnerable and most unlovable moments.

We have a great opportunity to speak up, in spirit and in truth. We accept the challenge to help open your spiritual ears, break the shackles from your eyes and open your heart in a great way, to God.

This radio station, Chattanooga Gospel Radio, in sharing the Gospel will edify (build up) the believer and evangelize the unbeliever to the need for salvation. In Romans 1: 16, the Apostle Paul said, “I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation, for everyone who believes”!
